Western Carolina University Percussion Professor Adam Groh stops by to talk about his percussion ensemble’s PASIC 2022 performance on the New Music Research Day (04:30), his job at WCU, his predecessor, the Marching Band there, the town of Cullowee and the remoteness of the campus (19:15), growing up in St. Louis, band experiences, playing drumset, and lacrosse (35:20), his undergrad years at Truman State University (MO) (49:30), eventually getting to Florida State for the master’s and studying with John W.
